The House
Taigh Lamraig nestles into the south eastern side of the Isle of Eriskay, one of the many islands which forms a ‘backbone’ linked by numerous causeways of the Outer Hebrides. As you approach the house down a track, you are instantly struck by how wonderfully remote it is with just a few other crofts visible. The house looks over a natural harbour at the foot of Acarsaid Mhor and is home to a small fleet of local fishing boats and sailing yachts that come and go in the summer.
Ground Floor
On entering the house there is a functional boot room with laundry facilities. Leading from the boot room is a well equipped large and comfortable open plan kitchen and dining room where you will find everything that you need to cater for parties of up to 10 people staying at the house. Through into the cosy library, there is a TV and DVD player together with games and books. In the drawing room there are plenty of comfortable seating areas around a large fireplace. This room has wonderful views across the harbour and out to sea and will comfortably sit everyone in your party.
The Bedrooms
There are 4 generous sized bedrooms in the house. The two double rooms have en suite bathrooms and the two twin rooms share the third large bathroom. All the rooms have glorious views across the natural harbour and are fully prepared with bedding, sheets and towels.
